"Soldiers of the 71st Independent Hunting Brigade of the Airborne Forces of Ukraine noticed a location where enemy troops concentrated. The Russians were moving from open spaces to one of the buildings on temporarily occupied territory," reads the statement published on Thursday by the Airborne Ukrainian Assault Forces.

According to military reports, the invaders tried to hide during the attack but fell into a trap. The defenders struck the building where the Russian soldiers were seeking shelter.

"The remaining occupiers intended to flee by car, but drones caught them," it added.

Air raid alarm, plumes of smoke, and explosions. Uneasy night in Russia

On the night from Wednesday to Thursday (local time), there was an attack on the Redkinski research facility in the Tver region of Russia, reports the Ukrainian agency UNIAN. The Russians may be producing jet fuel in the facility, as reported by the SOTA channel on Telegram.

Earlier, Russian media reported the alleged downing of four drones over the region. Additionally, the Russians claim to have destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles over the Moscow region and one over the Belgorod region.

Videos and photos appeared online documenting, among other things, plumes of smoke and the sound of an air raid alarm in the Tver region.
