Tuesday, 25 June, is the 853rd day of the war in Ukraine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided information that since 24 February 2022, they have destroyed 8,035 tanks and 259 Russian aircraft. Drones are missing in the statistics. Perhaps it is because it is hard to estimate the number of missions in which unmanned aerial vehicles participated.
We have repeatedly described the skills of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle operators. The Armed Forces of Ukraine shared another video of a combat drone mission from the battlefield. Manoeuvring such a machine sometimes requires real expertise.
The drone, whose flight recording can be seen in the video, is undoubtedly piloted by a specialist. The number of nooks and the difficulty of the mission he undertook is imposing.
He flew into the villa and blew up the entire enemy unit
The video shows several members of the Russian unit. The soldiers flee to a large abandoned house to take shelter. They have no idea that this mistake most likely cost them their lives.
The observer drone operator sees everything from a high altitude. At this moment, the second drone enters the action. The kamikaze drone starts its approach. The operator manoeuvres between the bushes in the garden to steer the drone perfectly to the villa's front door.
The drone then flies through the doorway and traverses a few more metres to ensure that the blast radius is maximised. Then, the detonation occurs.
