The Russian offensive in Ukraine continues. The defenders of our eastern neighbours are attempting to repel the enemy's attack. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have published a video showcasing the attack and destruction of Russian tanks. In one day, they reportedly decimated a significant portion of Putin's army resources.

Numerous videos have recently emerged online demonstrating how the Ukrainian army is dealing with Russian armoured units, particularly through the use of drones. Despite the Ukrainian authorities describing a critical situation at the front and calling for larger and quicker supplies, it's clear that the Ukrainian defenders are holding their own against the enemy.

Of course, these individual videos do not capture the complete picture of the current situation at the front, but Volodymyr Zelensky's army's small victories are noteworthy. This is especially true in light of media reports suggesting that Putin intends to start recruiting residents once more and soon launch another offensive.

On the X service, the Ukrainian Ministry of National Defense has released a video featuring the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade. Just before the holidays, this group was reported to have destroyed 36 tanks and 12 infantry fighting vehicles, according to Anton Geraschenko, a former deputy minister of internal affairs.

Significant achievement of the Ukrainian brigade

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence reports another victory of the 25th Brigade. In a single day, they are said to have destroyed 16 Russian armoured vehicles, 10 tanks, and 6 infantry vehicles. On the X service, drone footage displaying exploding targets can be viewed.

All these events reportedly took place in the vicinity of Avdiivka, a city from which Ukrainian forces had recently retreated. Intense combat occurred, but regrettably, Putin's forces came out on top. Ukrainian military personnel were ordered to evacuate the area. Experts have acknowledged that the success of the Russians was partly due to extensive bombing, mainly from the air.

At the same time, the capture of Avdiivka was reported to have resulted in substantial losses for Putin's forces. During the offensive, approximately 20,000 people were said to have died, and about 40,000 soldiers were injured. Around 700 vehicles were also reported destroyed.
