The war in Ukraine: The most important information in our live coverage

"Every day and night, Russia uses drones, missiles, and guided bombs to conduct a war of terror against our nation, against ordinary Ukrainian towns and villages," wrote Zelensky on the X platform.

The President of Ukraine pointed out that since the start of March, 130 missiles, 320 Shaheds, and nearly 900 guided bombs have been directed towards his country.

"Ukraine has demonstrated that it can effectively shoot down Russian missiles and drones, as well as destroy Russian military aircraft. These actions save thousands of human lives and enable the Ukrainian economy to function," we read in Zelensky's post.

The president of war-torn Ukraine appealed to allies to provide air defence resources. "However, we need more protection, specifically a fully realistic number of air defence systems that our partners possess.

Patriot systems and others must do what they were designed for: protect lives, not gather dust in warehouses. I want to thank everyone in the world who understands this and helps us save lives. Russian terror must lose," the politician emphasized.
