The United Kingdom has once again become the target of Russian propaganda. According to Kremlin propagandists, the Russian Federation "should support everyone who opposes the United Kingdom".

Much of the information conveyed by Russian media and government representatives is likely untrue. Such reports may be a part of an information war by the Russian Federation.
The Rossiya-1 channel, through its propagandists, is once again targeting the United Kingdom. This time, it argues that Russia should support everyone against the United Kingdom. According to the propagandists, this support should also include those who are ready to carry out "attacks with missiles and drones".
We should cynically support everyone who opposes the United Kingdom. If they are willing to carry out any attacks with missiles or drones, start a revolution or anything else, we should support it. And we should not be ashamed to publicly state: "Yes, we support this" - says a Russian propagandist in a recording posted on the portal X by Anton Gerashchenko.
Russian propaganda also mentions potential separatist movements that could arise in Scotland, Wales, or Ireland, which are currently parts of the United Kingdom. "Englishmen oppress the Welsh. Who doesn't give freedom to the Scots? Who doesn't allow the freedom-loving people of Ireland to unite?" asks the propagandist.
This is not the first Russian propaganda attack aimed at the United Kingdom
Russian propaganda regularly targets Western countries, including the United Kingdom, which actively supports the fighting Ukrainians. Recently, one of the Russian reserve generals and parliament member, Andrei Gurulev, called on Putin to use nuclear weapons against the United Kingdom as a preemptive strike.
The threat of using nuclear weapons and fomenting separatist sentiments is an attempt to intimidate the United Kingdom and distract the British from potentially agreeing to the use of supplied weapons for attacks carried out by Ukraine deep within Russia.
