Tyson's £550m rematch challenge: Knockout Jake Paul in 3 minutes

Media reports suggest that Saudi minister Turki Alalshikh has offered Mike Tyson up to £550 million for a rematch with Jake Paul, on the condition that Tyson wins within a specified time. This proposal followed the November fight between these two boxers.

The decision of Paul's unanimous victory over Tyson in the November bout resonated broadly and evoked a lot of emotions. Similarly, so did the conduct of the match itself.

Alalshikh, the chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, known for substantial investments in boxing, allegedly remarked that Jake Paul "is a joke." The minister offered Tyson £550 million, but only on the condition that he "agrees to fight Jake Paul this time in a real fight and wins by KO in a maximum of three minutes."

Although there is no official confirmation of this offer from Alalshikh himself, this information appeared on a popular Instagram profile, FTTV, which was the first to report these claims.

This is how he named the Paul - Tyson fight

Not only was Alalshikh disappointed with the result of the first fight. Renowned football player Michael Irvin, who watched the clash closely, described it as a "lie."

He even suggested that the contract might have restricted Tyson from using his signature punches.

I didn’t see one patented uppercut by Mike Tyson. Uppercut - said Irvin.

It is not yet known if Mike Tyson will agree to a rematch on these terms. However, the sum of £550 million and the pressure to win in three minutes cast the fight in an entirely new light. If the offer proves to be genuine, we might witness one of the most spectacular and expensive matches in boxing history.
