Twins spend fortune on surgeries to mirror Brad Pitt's look
The Schlepp brothers spent around £15,000 to look like Brad Pitt, hoping this new appearance would help them achieve a desired career in Hollywood.
In recent years, there have been numerous instances where thieves impersonate celebrities to extort money. "Scamming as Brad Pitt" has recently gained popularity. A Frenchwoman named Anne, caught in a difficult personal situation, lost over 870,000 dollars (approximately 671,000 pounds), believing she was aiding a non-existent actor in his fight against cancer. The fraudsters even went so far as to create fake medical documentation and involve others in their deception. It is worth noting that, although not to extort money, there was a time when real individuals genuinely desired to look like the actor.
The twins Mike and Matt Schlepp wanted to look like Brad Pitt
Twin brothers Mike and Matt Schlepp decided many years ago to invest substantial money to look like their idol. Their transformation was so remarkable that it caught the attention of MTV, which documented the entire process in its show "I Want a Famous Face." In one episode, the twins appeared as those who decided to look like Brad Pitt. To fulfill their dream, they underwent a series of plastic surgeries.
The transformation of Mike and Matt involved procedures such as cheek and chin implants, rhinoplasties, and new teeth and hairstyles. These surgeries were painful and required a lengthy recovery period. Despite the discomfort, the brothers did not regret their decisions and expressed satisfaction with the results.
The brothers were motivated by a desire to significantly increase their self-confidence, knowing that Brad Pitt is considered one of the most handsome men in the world. According to "The Sun," the twins spent about 19,000 dollars (approximately 15,000 pounds) on this endeavour. Importantly, MTV did not cover these costs—the transformation was financed by Mike and Matt themselves.
