Photographs of Tucker Carlson in Moscow were released by Russian media on Monday, 5 February. The American journalist, recognised for his conservative beliefs and staunch backing for Trump, authored a post on Tuesday in which he revealed his intention to interview Vladimir Putin.

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for the Kremlin, declined to comment when questioned whether Carlson had visited the Russian administration building. As a result, it remains uncertain whether the journalist had actual discussions with the president.

Carlson himself clarified that his objective was to provide detailed information. His goal is to exhibit to Americans the war in Ukraine from the vantage point of Russia and its president.

On Wednesday, additional content featuring the journalist surfaced on social media. The photos unveiled on the X portal depicted Carlson at a "Russian McDonald's," that is, at the "Tasty - and Point" restaurant. It was reported that he ordered a burger, fries, and a beverage there.

Subsequently, Carlson paid a visit to Auchan, where he perused grocery items including coffee and tea. He was also noted filling up petrol at a nearby petrol station. During his visit, Tucker autographed a postcard and was gifted a pack of "Bird's Milk".

Social media also portrays that the journalist was approachable, and willing to engage and take photos with Russians. He expressed his admiration for Moscow and Russia on several occasions. He paid numerous compliments, and when questioned about American politicians, he allegedly laughed and labelled them as fools.

Carlson departed Moscow that very day. An interview is claimed to have taken place, however, this is in no way verified. Insiders from the Kremlin insist that Carlson spoke with the president and his administration.

Tucker's arrival has been keenly anticipated for a while. He is welcomed. Everyone in the presidential administration is on board and cooperatively working — a source stated.
