Donald Trump caused a stir with his remarks during a speech in Pennsylvania. He suggested that criminals "have to be taught" and proposed a "quick and simple way" to do so.

Donald Trump presented a controversial method to tackle crime issues in the USA, which many compare to the plot of the famous horror film "The Purge" - according to the Daily Mail.

During his speech in Pennsylvania, Trump proposed a "one rough hour" aimed at deterring criminals.

If you had one really violent day. One rough hour -- and I mean real rough -- the word would get out and it would end immediately," stated Trump. According to him, the crime problem arises from the fact that the police cannot do their job due to liberal politicians like Kamala Harris.

Controversial words of Trump

Trump's speech prompted numerous comments. Among others, a well-known influencer in the USA, Brian Krassenstein, reacted, writing: "Did Trump just suggest 'The Purge'?"

Many observers suggested that Trump proposes bringing the movie to reality: "Trump is literally proposing 'The Purge'". This refers to a movie concept where there is a 24-hour period of legal crime, including permission to commit murder.

During a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, Trump again emphasised his migration stance. He warned against an "invasion" and promised to start deportations if he won the election. "Thousands of migrants from the most dangerous countries are destroying the character of small towns and leaving local communities in anguish and in despair," he argued.
