Trump and Musk celebrate Thanksgiving at Mar‑a-Lago gathering

In the United States, Thanksgiving was celebrated on 28th November. It is a moveable holiday, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of the month. It commemorates events from the years 1620-21. A group of pilgrims arrived from Europe aboard the ship Mayflower. Many of them did not survive the harsh winter, but the following year brought a very large harvest. Therefore, along with the local Native Americans, they organised a feast to jointly celebrate the exceptionally abundant harvests. Over two hundred years later, Abraham Lincoln decided to establish a national holiday to commemorate those events.

It was Thanksgiving that was the reason many guests, including Elon Musk, gathered at Trump's residence. A video from the party appeared online, showing the two billionaires enjoying themselves to the song "YMCA" by the Village People. Trump and Musk are not dancing, but it's clear they are having a great time and are in excellent spirits.

The billionaire hopes for favourable legal regulations for his business in the USA. He is also counting on government subsidies. Trump himself announced that he sees Musk in his administration in a new position concerning "government efficiency."
