Witnesses interviewed by the "Expressen" newspaper recounted hearing around 4 to 5 shots in the Navestad district. Police have confirmed that "intensive efforts are in progress" to address this tragic event, yet, as of now, no arrests have been made for the murder.

Earlier on Sunday, in central Norrköping, police sealed off an entire street block and evacuated residents following the discovery of a suspicious object in a bag, which was later revealed to contain a bomb with a hazardous liquid and a detonator. Investigations are underway to determine if there's a link between this incident and the subsequent shooting.

Norrköping, embroiled in gang violence, has witnessed several alarming incidents in recent months. At the start of March, a shooting in a shopping centre left one person wounded. A significant explosion rocked one of the residential buildings at the end of March. Furthermore, at the beginning of April, a shooting occurred in a public area, but thankfully, there were no injuries.
