Tragedy strikes as 'America's Got Talent' star Emily Gold found dead
Emily Gold has sadly passed away. The body of the 17-year-old, who participated in "America's Got Talent" just a few weeks ago, was found under a bridge near the motorway in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Investigators already have initial hypotheses regarding the details of this tragic event.

On Friday, on State Route 210 in Rancho Cucamonga, California, a young woman was found dead, as confirmed in a press release by Officer Rodrigo Jiménez of the California Highway Patrol. According to Officer Jiménez, officers were called to a "pedestrian lying on the lanes." She turned out to be 17-year-old Emily Gold.
A 17-year-old woman from Rancho Cucamonga was struck by at least one vehicle in the high-occupancy vehicle lane on the eastbound SR-210 motorway. The woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, it read.
Officers confirmed to "People" magazine that Emily Gold committed suicide by jumping in front of oncoming cars.
Just a few weeks ago, Emily Gold, along with a group of cheerleaders, participated in the American edition of "America's Got Talent!" The performance was rewarded with a standing ovation, but the dancers had to say goodbye to the show, reaching the quarter-finals. Heartfelt farewells from school and team friends began to appear on Instagram.
