Tori Spelling became one of the biggest stars of the 90s through her role as Donna Martin in the "Beverly Hills, 90210" series, which skyrocketed her to fame. Unfortunately, she opted not to persist with her acting career, instead participating in the reality show "Tori & Dean" with her second husband, Dean McDermott, by whom she has five children. It's worth noting that her first husband was Charlie Shanian.
Tori Spelling revealed a secret
Even before her marriage to Charlie Shanian, Tori Spelling was romantically linked with several men. One of them was her "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star, Jason Priestley, who was responsible for her less-than-perfect smile. How did that happen?
For years, Tori Spelling hasn't shown her teeth in a smile. Despite fans frequently asking in comments under her social media posts why she wasn't showing her teeth, she only recently disclosed the truth. Many years ago, her front tooth was chipped during an "aggressive" kiss with Jason Priestley.
- I have a chipped front tooth from making out with Jason Priestley in an elevator and he chipped my front tooth. He's a good but aggressive kisser. - Spelling revealed in her podcast episode of misSPELLING from May 3rd.
She also mentioned that this incident occurred "long before her wedding" and described her relationship with Priestley as a "summer fling."
A decision for a "new" smile
Tori Spelling also admitted that she neglected her own care after marrying Dean McDermott and having five children.
- I got married. I had 5 kids. They became important. It's one of those things, like when you have kids, you stop doing things for yourself. You just stop doing those little self care things. Well, at least me as a mom, I did. And my teeth were my last priority, which sucks." - she elucidated in the podcast.
That’s why she recently opted for a "new" smile. During her visit to Napa, California, she had veneers fitted, which restored her confidence.
- When you get veneers, they have to take down your teeth. They put on temporaries that are glued in, basically like high-end plastic dentures, top and bottom. And then they craft your teeth," - she added.
