Hobby horsing is an unusual form of sport in which participants, known as "hobby horse riders," compete in various events while riding a horse head on a wooden stick (hobby horse). It combines elements of horse riding with creativity and competition. The sport originated in Finland and is currently most prevalent among children and adolescents.

Water hobby horse trending on TikTok

TikTok, previously known as Musical.ly, is a social platform that has gained enormous popularity worldwide in a short time. The app allows users to create, share, and view short videos. New trends and challenges often emerge on the platform.

One internet user came up with a brilliant idea: a water version of the hobby horse. She even posted a tutorial on TikTok on how to make the innovative toy. You just need to buy a pool noodle and cut it accordingly. Then, attach eyes and ears. Alternatively, you can opt for a less demanding option – buy a ready-made product online. The tutorial video has gone viral. So far, nearly 900,000 people have watched it, and 60,000 have liked it.

Hobby horse fans thrilled with the idea

A flurry of comments appeared under the video. Many hobby horse enthusiasts were thrilled with the water-based version of the sport: "I have a new hobby: I'm a water hobby horse enthusiast," "'Water horse' is a better name," "I want a water hobby horse," "Let's make water hobby horses for camp," "What a great idea, I need to convince other hobby horse enthusiasts," and "New activity for the summer." Judging by the huge interest from fans of this unusual sport, the water hobby horse could be a hit this summer. Will the trend go viral?
