It's hard to imagine hair care without using shampoo or conditioner. Emilia, who runs the @rose.maryplace account on TikTok, is experimenting with her hair. She has abandoned store-bought cosmetics in favour of natural ingredients.

Currently, she limits herself to washing her hair with warm water, making sure to brush it thoroughly before washing. She also applies flaxseed gel to her hair and scalp. Recently, she showed the condition of her hair.

She hasn't washed her hair with shampoo for 40 days

In previous videos, Emilia revealed that even natural shampoos dried out her hair, so she decided to conduct an experiment. For over 40 days, she hasn't used shampoo or conditioner. She showed how her hair looks now.

"The hair has gotten used to it and looks very nice. It is neither very dry nor oily. I wash it daily with warm water and sometimes apply flaxseed gel before washing," Emilia said.

The TikToker also admitted that she doesn't have dandruff and her scalp is doing well. "I think I will stick with this method," she concluded.

This is how she cares for her hair

She starts her routine by thoroughly brushing her hair with a regular comb. Then she applies cooled flaxseed gel to the strands. She keeps it on her hair for about 30 minutes. After that time, she rinses the mixture under running water, massaging her scalp in circular motions.

The next step is to soak her hair in rosemary rinse. To prepare it, she needs about 120 millilitres of rosemary water and 470 millilitres of water. To cleanse her scalp, the TikToker also does vinegar rinses once every two weeks. What do you think about this experiment?
