Thermomix is an advanced kitchen robot that combines mixing, cooking, blending, grinding, weighing, and steam cooking. It's made by the German company Vorwerk and has been a favourite among those who value quick meal preparation for years.
The robot is highly versatile. With Thermomix, you can easily whip up various dishes, from soups and sauces to cakes and desserts. Its intuitive interface, often featuring a touchscreen, simplifies device operation. Thanks to its advanced technology, the Thermomix can replace multiple kitchen devices, a boon for compact kitchens.
Can Thermomix users not make coffee?
An internet user who mocked a Thermomix recipe uploaded a provocative post on portal X. The screenshot highlighted the title "brewed coffee", with instructions on how to make the drink beneath it. The recipe's rating, 3.8 stars out of 5, also drew attention.
The comments section saw a lively debate. Internet users scoffed at Thermomix owners: "Is this a recipe for instant coffee? 10 minutes?" "coffee from a pot, what a joke", "just love washing their beloved pot that costs £4,000", "that's ridiculous", "First you cook the stew in this pot, and then a delicious coffee? Do I get that right?", "Next edition: Pour water. Water - it's wet and transparent- comes from that strange stick protruding from your kitchen sink."
Thermomix users respond to the accusations
Thermomix users also spoke up. Owners of the device explained: "I own a Thermomix, and it assists me in cooking because I'm not skilful in the kitchen, but thanks to it, I can whip up something really nice. However, some of the recipes submitted are silly. I'm slowly starting to have regrets, about buying it", "Generally, brewed coffee that's been heated for a while is better than just pouring boiling water over the grounds."
