On Thursday, June 20, an intriguing video was posted on the Just Stop Oil organization's social media. Climate activists demonstrated their dissatisfaction with Taylor Swift's numerous flights; who likes to travel by private jet even for scandalously short distances.

Taylor Swift is a singer, vocalist, songwriter, and composer who completely dominates the music world. In the spring of 2023, she began her global concert tour, "The Eras Tour." This was an absolute hit; tickets sold like hotcakes, and the artist added more shows in many cities when she realized the high demand for her performances. Additionally, her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," has been at the top of the Billboard 200 list for two months.

There is no doubt that Taylor Swift knows what success feels like. It cannot be denied her. Unfortunately, the artist regularly falls afoul of both fans and climate activists. The artist often uses a private jet and organizes short flights that generate vast amounts of carbon dioxide. In 2022, she topped the list of celebrities polluting the air. Activists from the Just Stop Oil organization decided to show their dissatisfaction.

Just Stop Oil is an environmental organization from the United Kingdom that tries to convince the government to halt new fossil fuel licences and stop their production. Activists began their activities in 2022. Their behaviour often stirs emotions and controversy because they opt for specific actions, which are regularly labelled as acts of vandalism. Just Stop Oil is known for pouring colourful liquids on famous paintings, statues, or planes.

Taylor Swift also did not escape the activists' attention. On social media, Just Stop Oil shared a video showing activists sneaking onto the airstrip at Stansted in London, where the artist's jet was parked. Activists defaced her plane with an orange substance in protest against her generating a large amount of carbon dioxide.

Unfortunately, Taylor Swift has never addressed the accusations regarding her use of private jets in the past. One can assume that it will be the same this time. The artist does everything to tour and simultaneously see her partner, so she will likely not stop organizing frequent, short flights.
