This time, I come with a brilliant recipe for a tasty, original, and simultaneously well-presenting dinner for the whole family. It will be a real treat especially for lovers of meaty flavours, as the cult ribs will play the leading role.
Not only will you bake them in the company of aromatic spices, but you will also serve them in the form of a true bowl of happiness, which will not lack roasted potatoes either. Sounds pretty good, right? And it tastes even better! Such a dinner often appears on my table because my dad absolutely adores it. It will surely be a hit at your place too.
Ribs with roasted potatoes served as a bowl of happiness delight both in taste and appearance
Ingredients:
Ribs:
- about 1.6 kilograms of pork ribs,
- 2 tablespoons of sweet paprika,
- 1 tablespoon of dried garlic,
- 2 tablespoons of dried thyme,
- 1 tablespoon of cumin,
- 1 teaspoon of hot paprika,
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger,
- 60 millilitres of vegetable oil,
- 2 teaspoons of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of pepper.
Other ingredients:
- about 1 kilogram of small potatoes,
- 1 tablespoon of dried garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of dried thyme,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper,
- 60 millilitres of vegetable oil,
- 2 onions.
Step 1. I begin by preparing the potatoes. First, I halve them, then mix them with oil, dried garlic, dried thyme, pepper, and salt. I mix the ingredients thoroughly to ensure they combine well and create a perfect flavour combination.
Step 2. Next, I move on to the ribs. I drizzle each piece of meat with oil, then season to taste with: sweet paprika, dried garlic, dried thyme, cumin, ground ginger, hot paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 3. The ribs in spices are then transferred to a baking dish, forming a circle.
Step 4. In the centre, I add peeled and cut onions and the previously prepared potatoes.
Step 5. This arrangement is then secured with butcher's twine, after which the whole dish is covered with aluminium foil. Only then can the dish be placed in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours. During this time, the oven should operate at approximately 190 degrees Celsius.
Step 6. Serve the baked dish warm with an addition of fresh parsley. And that's it, enjoy your meal!
