Sylvester Stallone on saving his marriage after regretful split
Sylvester Stallone almost ended his relationship with Jennifer Flavin by sending a letter through a courier service. Today, years later, the couple enjoys their life together, although their past is not free from stumbles and real storms.
Sylvester Stallone, a well-known actor and director, almost ended his relationship with Jennifer Flavin in 1994 by sending her a letter. He spoke about it on Sean Hannity's show. At that time, as he admits, he lacked the courage to face difficult emotions head-on.
"That’s the most insincere breakup you can get," added the actor known as Rambo.
In the same programme, Sly admitted that he couldn't face either the hardships of the relationship or the difficult emotions. This was because he grew up in an environment where emotions and weakness were suppressed.
"I was raised in an incredibly dysfunctional family. No love. No pat. No handshake," he admitted.
Stormy relationship with Stallone
Despite this incident, the couple survived the crisis and in 1997, they walked down the aisle. Their relationship, however, was not free from challenges. In 2022, Jennifer filed for divorce, and Sylvester covered up the tattoo of her face with the image of a dog, which caused quite a stir in the media. That autumn, however, they reconciled, leading some to speculate that their sudden reunion was connected to the reality show "The Stallone Family".
Sylvester Stallone has a rich history of relationships, including a controversial one with Brigitte Nielsen. Together with Flavin, he has three adult daughters who also participate in the production of their show. Jennifer recently turned 56, and Sylvester celebrated by posting archival family photos on Instagram with warm words directed at his wife.
