Marc Cucurella dyed his hair red

The Spanish national team turned out to be the sensation of Euro 2024. Playing their best football, they eliminated teams such as France and Germany, and in the final, they beat England, triumphing 2-1.

Just before the final, the left-back of La Furia Roja, Marc Cucurella, promised that if his team won the championship, he would dye his hair red. As promised, he did.

The defender of London’s Chelsea posted a photo showing his new look on social media. His lush black hair turned red, which was widely commented on by the media worldwide.

Many remarks appeared in the comments under the footballer's photos, including those from famous footballers. Words of disbelief were expressed by, among others, his Chelsea teammate Trevor Chalobah and Spaniard Alex Baena.

The Spanish dominated Euro 2024

Marc Cucurella was one of the most important players in Luis De La Fuente's squad. From the beginning of Euro 2024, the Spaniards showed excellent play and were the only team in the tournament to remain undefeated. They came closest to losing in the quarter-finals, where they faced the hosts, Germany, winning only after a goal by Mikel Merino in the last seconds of extra time.

In the final, they won after a goal in the 86th minute by Mikel Oyarzabal, assisted by Marc Cucurella. This was the fourth victory for the Spaniards in the European Championship, making them the individual leaders in the gold medalist rankings of these tournaments.
