Emily, as reported by "Daily Mail", stresses that when choosing a suitcase for air travel, one should not base their decision solely on the appearance of durability. She points out that some suitcases may look sturdy but can easily be damaged. She highlights that the critical factor should be the durability of the material the briefcase is made from.

The British stewardess also highlights the risk of liquid leaks in luggage due to pressure changes during the flight, advising to pack important documents away from liquids or in waterproof packaging.
The stewardess recommends using bright colours for two-wheeled suitcases, making them easier to spot on the carousel.
She advises planning your outfits ahead of time for trips that only require a small carry-on. This approach helps with packing and reduces the amount of luggage needed. Verifying reservation details is crucial to ensure that the luggage complies with all airline requirements.
An additional tip is to wrap your luggage in plastic wrap before departure. This safeguards the suitcase from scratches, dirt, and unwelcome intrusions while lowering the risk of theft or tampering. Should there be any unauthorized attempts to access the contents, the tampering would be visible. The cost of purchasing plastic wrap from a shop is substantially less than the price charged for a wrapping service at the airport.
