Brad Pitt's daughter renounces her father's last name
As reported by "Daily Mail," Brad Pitt's 18-year-old daughter, Shiloh, filed for a name change. The teenager had been waiting for four years to drop her father's surname. According to information obtained by journalists from the mentioned portal, the whole matter is related to an altercation that allegedly took place on board a private jet. Let us recall that during the trip, the actor was reportedly shouting insults at his wife and children, accusing them of "using him."
An informant from "Daily Mail" also claims that Shiloh decided to change her name because she felt that her rights were violated. This pertains specifically to the process of granting parental custody rights. Let us recall that the whole matter was resolved during six-month closed-door hearings. The court at that time heard the testimonies of experts who interviewed the children. Ultimately, Brad received the right to joint custody of the minors. The actress appealed for the children to testify, but Judge John Ouderkirk did not agree to her request. Jolie then demanded the judge's disqualification.
The change of first name and last name has its roots in the custody battle and Shiloh's belief that her rights as a victim were violated. (...) Shiloh believed that as a victim of a crime, she had the right to testify, but this was prevented - reports the informant.
"Daily Mail" also reports that the 18-year-old does not plan to take any other legal steps related to her father.
