Shelling halts Agroton's fieldwork and devastates Kharkiv's agriculture

Spring fieldwork has been made impossible due to ongoing Russian shelling, resulting in a temporary halt in production activity. Agroton reported in a statement that all manufacturing plants in the Kharkiv region have been destroyed.

Agroton, an agricultural production company with a diverse portfolio, operates in eastern Ukraine, as stated on its website. The company is a regional leader in grain seed sales, livestock breeding and sales, and food production.

Furthermore, Agroton is the largest operator of grain elevators in the Luhansk region, boasting a storage capacity of around 285,000 tons.

Agroton is the leading producer of sunflower seeds in Ukraine and the fourth largest wheat producer in the country.
