Russians supported their army with another tank delivery. This time, a train fully loaded with T-90M Proryw tanks left the production plants in Nizhny Tagil. We remind you of these machines' capabilities, which pose a real threat to the Ukrainians.

Russians regularly bolster their army with further deliveries of tanks. Not all are the best units in their arsenal. Often, older models that, despite their questionable defensive capabilities, are significant in quantity are dispatched to the front lines. One of the most recent transports includes T-62s sent into battle in mid-March 2024.

Also frequently transported on Russian trains are the much more modern and popular T-72 tanks with which Russia "floods" Ukraine. However, the designs currently attracting the most attention represent the pinnacle of the Russian Federation's technology.

We are talking about the T-90M Proryw, with another batch recently highlighted in recordings from March 2024. Now, UralVagonZavod is dispatching more of these superior machines to the front lines, as confirmed by footage referred to by the Bulgarian Military portal.

More Russian tanks are heading to the front

From the available footage, it seems that there are at least 10 T-90M Proryw tanks on the train heading to Ukraine. Bulgarian Military notes that another delivery signifies that Russia can still produce its latest models. However, whether the replenished numbers in the conflict over the past month are brand-new or refurbished units is unclear.

Remember, the T-90M Proryw, although not invulnerable as demonstrated by the conflict in Ukraine, remains one of the most formidable tanks in the Russian Federation's arsenal. While its technology differs from Western models, it is far more durable and has greater firepower than older Russian tanks.

The T-90 M's 3-person crew is protected by the Relikt reactive armour, covering both the turret and hull. Defensive capabilities are further bolstered by a smoothbore cannon 2A46M-5 cal—125 mm paired with Kalina's modern fire control system. Additionally, the tank is equipped with machine guns cal 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm. The power unit, generating 1000 HP, accelerates the T-90M Proryw to a maximum speed of around 64 km/h (roughly 40 mph).
