The Russians attacked with several columns, moving west towards Velyka Novosilka and northwest from the occupied Maksymivka. They also occupied areas south of Rozdolne, attacking with drones and Pustynka. In Toretsk, they advanced to the Zabalka district.

Changes on the front line are reflected in maps published overnight from Thursday to Friday (21-22 November) by DeepState on Telegram.

Analysts of the project reported a difficult situation in the Donetsk region and Velyka Novosilka, where a column of several armoured personnel carriers and tanks has penetrated.

Unfortunately, the defence proved to be unreliable. The enemy sensed it immediately, and relatively quickly managed to bring in reserves that were to be used for assaults towards Rozlyv (Kherson region), the report states.

The massive attack takes place a day after the Ukrainian intelligence revealed the strategic objectives of the Russian army for the autumn-winter period - access to the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
