A newly released video by vlogger WarTranslated on the Twitter platform further highlights the grim reality and low morale within the Russian army. Soldiers disclose details about an assault where they are used as "cannon fodder".

Discontent is rising within the notorious 155th brigade, which is attempting to seize Nowomikhaylovka. The local soldiers are being sent to their likely demise against Ukrainian fighters with no chance of return. These soldiers are denied ammunition and evacuation, excused by the notion that they are merely "fodder" - writes WarTranslated.

The WarTranslated video, attached to the post, mentions the identities of those who appear in the recording. The clip dates back to February 8, 2024, delivering a real-time account right from the frontline.

The video, presumably recorded by a Russian soldier, shows two other draftees complaining about their conditions. One man recounts his battlefield experiences.

Yesterday three assault groups were dispatched. Only three people came back - obviously without any support. No evacuation was arranged for the wounded. Those who returned were sent back with knives and without weapons - says one of the soldiers.

A second man, equipped with a rifle, agrees with him, exhibiting frustration and unwillingness to continue being treated in such a manner.

Our superiors view us as fodder. They don't see us as human beings, they treat us like fodder, literally. We want this to end. We are human beings, not fodder. We wish to make a collective appeal to all ranks for this to finally stop - said the second soldier.
