On Tuesday, the legendary horse races, Royal Ascot, began and they last for five days. The event attracts not only sports enthusiasts but also the British royal family. Among the attendees this year were King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince William, as well as Carole and Michael Middleton.

It's worth mentioning that this is the first public appearance of Duchess Kate's parents since the revelation of their daughter's diagnosis. According to the Daily Mail, William spent most of the second day of Royal Ascot talking with his in-laws and Zara Tindall.

During the event, Carole, who appeared in graphite pumps, had a slight mishap. The heel of Middleton's right shoe got stuck in the grass, causing the 69-year-old to momentarily become a "Cinderella" with one bare foot. Fortunately, her son-in-law, like a true prince, rushed to help.

William extended his hand to his mother-in-law and helped her maintain her balance while she put her shoe back on. The situation was accompanied by shy smiles, which were captured by photographers. Internet users were delighted with the prince's behavior.

How adorable; a truly loving son-in-law; always a gentleman; this is how a mother-in-law should be treated; he truly loves his in-laws; he's really an amazing person - we read in the comments.

A son-in-law like this is truly a treasure?
