Royal absence at Swift's concert fuels speculation on Duchess Kate's health

Duchess Kate is under the scrutiny of public opinion even more so since she gradually returned to public appearances. However, she was absent during Friday's outing to the Taylor Swift concert. What do experts and those close to the royals say about this?

On 21 June, Taylor Swift started a series of concerts in London. Her performances in the United Kingdom are another part of the record-breaking popularity tour "The Eras Tour". British stars and even members of the royal family were not missing from the audience during Friday's show. Enjoying the hits of the musical icon, among others were Prince William, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.

The royals not only watched the concert but also met with Taylor Swift backstage. Commemorative photos appeared on the artist's and the royal family's social media. Fans noted that Kate Middleton was missing from the concert, and Prince Louis was also not present.

After Duchess Kate's grand return during the King's Birthday Parade, many people expected that Middleton would again be inseparable from her husband and children. However, it seems it is too early for her to engage in such intense activities.

"Princess Kate is not expected to attend any future Taylor concerts. Her appearance at the King's Trooping the Colour doesn't mean she is returning to a full schedule of public engagements yet," reveals an insider to Entertainment Tonight.

The past few months have not been easy for Kate and William. A spouse's illness is a burden for the entire family, and this applies to both royals and "ordinary people." Experts and those close to the royal family have no doubt that the future royal couple handled the difficulties excellently, and their marriage is even stronger.

In an interview with "OK!" magazine, Jennie Bond, former BBC royal correspondent, admitted that in her opinion, the new photo of William with the children (taken by Kate, of course) speaks volumes not only about the couple’s enduring bond but also about their optimism.

"I think this photograph tells us that they are still able to jump for joy, even in the toughest of times, and that Kate has deliberately chosen a picture that speaks of their optimism for the future," commented Bond.

She added that Kate regards William as her rock. This was, of course, always the case, but recently the prince has had more opportunities to prove himself.

"He is her rock and has supported her so selflessly through all of this and has taken flak from members of the public for not doing more and for devoting himself to her. So she adores her man. I think their marriage is stronger than ever," summed up the specialist.

Maybe Duchess Kate wasn't at the Taylor Swift concert, but as she announced, she plans to attend other events this summer. However, she did not reveal any details.
