Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying the hotel's amenities before what could be his last match in the UK. Fans spotted him and documented everything on social media.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the renowned 39-year-old who continues to dazzle with his on-field performance, scored his 133rd international goal on Saturday, contributing to Portugal's 3-1 triumph over Poland. This feat brings his career total to 906 goals.

On Tuesday, Ronaldo will have the chance to increase this tally further as Portugal takes on Scotland in a Nations League match at Hampden Park.

Before this match, the Portuguese team trained at the St Mirren ground and stayed at the exclusive Cameron House hotel by Loch Lomond.

Ronaldo, famous for his commitment to fitness, was filmed during a workout at the hotel gym. However, the player also found time for relaxation, as captured on TikTok when he enjoyed the water slides in the hotel pool.

Dressed only in black shorts, showing off his muscular physique, he was photographed at the top of the slide, ready to descend.

This is not the first time the Al-Nassr star has visited Loch Lomond. He has visited before during his first stint with Manchester United, ahead of Champions League matches with Celtic in 2006 and 2008.

Portugal's great form

Portugal is in excellent form, having won all three of its Nations League matches so far, while the Scottish team has not fared as well, losing all three.

Portugal manager Roberto Martinez highlighted that substituting Ronaldo in the match against Poland was a planned decision to prepare him for the encounter with Scotland.

Martinez explained that substituting Cristiano was a key part of their player management plan, as they had two games scheduled within a 72-hour period. The decision was made to rest Cristiano to prepare him for the upcoming match in Scotland. Diogo Jota replaced him and performed very well. Martinez emphasized the importance of utilizing the bench effectively and confirmed that Cristiano is in excellent shape for the next game.
