Robot revolution: South Korea unveils McDonald’s of the future
In South Korea, there is a McDonald's restaurant that seems like it's been taken straight out of the year 2050. Watching the short video posted on TikTok, you are transported to the future. It is a future where the customer has no contact with another person at any stage of the ordering process.

A video has appeared on TikTok, showcasing a McDonald's restaurant in South Korea. A customer visited a location that resembles a scene from a science fiction movie. They have entirely removed human service.
The ordering process is completed via a touchscreen. This approach is also commonly used in McDonald's restaurants. However, what is surprising is what happens afterwards.
The ordered meal is placed in a special box. When the customer, following the instructions on the screen, taps on the glass, the lid lifts, allowing the customer to collect their order.
Robots "employed" in the food industry
We can assume that this is precisely what the future of McDonald's restaurants will entail. For now, orders are collected from an employee, and you can request your meal is brought to your table. In the South Korean restaurant, the customer has no contact with the staff.
The modern consumer is increasingly willing to embrace innovations, and representatives of the food service industry are progressively implementing new solutions. However, limiting human interactions will undoubtedly have an impact on our daily lives.
