We assure you that our version of coleslaw, proudly heavy on kohlrabi, is a healthier alternative to the classic salad. Kohlrabi, despite being under-appreciated in various cuisines, is replete with numerous health benefits. It's kohlrabi that gives our coleslaw its distinctive crunchiness, making it irresistible!
Kohlrabi coleslaw
Ingredients:
- 1 kohlrabi
- 2 carrots
- 1 apple
- 2-3 spoonfuls of 18% cream
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- dill
- chives
- salt, pepper
Method:
- Regardless of whether it's an apple, carrot, or kohlrabi, treat them all the same. Peel, wash thoroughly, and then grate on a large grater. Transfer these grated ingredients to a bowl.
- Add chopped dill and chives. Pour in lemon juice and add 2-3 spoonfuls of 18% cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix well and taste before tweaking. If the salad is too sour, you can add a bit more lemon juice, seasoning, or even powdered sugar to balance the flavor. Serve alongside lunch and relish in the crunchy, health-packed deliciousness. Bon appetit!
