The bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the house. This is where you start and end your day, so you surely want it to be neat and tidy. Usually, cleaning the bathroom doesn't take much time unless you have to clean the tiles. What do you clean bathroom tiles with to make them shine? Discover the recipe for a homemade bathroom tile cleaner, and you will restore their former look.

Add to water and wipe the bathroom tiles. They will be like new

Bathroom tiles are one of those places that are cleaned the least often. Over time, they get streaks, dirt, and even discolourations. Often, even professional cleaning products do not cope with them. You can prevent this. All you need to do is prepare a homemade tile-cleaning solution. You probably have most of the ingredients at home already.

To create this solution, you'll need a pack of baking soda, about 50 grams of dishwasher rinse aid, and about 50 grams of dishwashing liquid. Baking soda will remove all impurities, and the rinse aid will almost polish the tile surface. Place all ingredients in a tall bowl and pour about a litre of warm water. Mix them thoroughly. In this solution, soak a clean mop and wipe the tiles. After drying, they will be as good as new.

Rub this paste into the tiles. There will be no trace of dirt

Old bathroom tiles require special treatment. A homemade tile-cleaning solution may not be enough. You need to reach for stronger agents. A homemade paste based on baking soda, lemon, and salt will work in this case.

Mix baking soda with salt in a 1:1 ratio. Add the juice of a whole lemon and a bit of water to that. The consistency should resemble a smooth paste. Apply it to the tiles, then leave it for about fifteen minutes. Afterwards, scrub the surface with a sponge and rinse the paste with a damp cloth. Don't forget to wipe the tiles dry. In this simple way, you will restore their former look.
