In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, a car owned by Jewhen Ananiew, who worked in a penal colony established by the occupying forces, exploded. He was the "creator of a torture chamber" in the facility - HUR reported.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 8:40 AM GMT.

"Today in Berdiansk, resistance movement members targeted a penal colony worker. They blew the traitor up" - wrote on Sunday on his Telegram channel Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor loyal to Kyiv's mayor of Mariupol.

Andriushchenko noted that the vehicle's owner died instantly from the injuries sustained.

The Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) published a statement regarding the explosion in Berdiansk. It was indicated that the collaborator was "one of the organizers of torture chambers in penal colony No. 77".

"As a result of the explosion, Ananiewski, who was involved in torturing Ukrainian prisoners, was eliminated," it reads. "HUR reminds that the justice system will punish every war crime," was added.
