Real-life "Baby Reindeer" stalker to clarify saga on the "Piers Morgan Uncensored"
"Baby Reindeer" is the biggest Netflix hit of the last few weeks. Addressing complex subjects (stalking, sexual violence, defining sexual orientation), the series enjoys unwavering popularity, further amplified by the real-life basis of the story—no wonder the announcement of the appearance of the original screen stalker caused a storm.

The complex and multifaceted plot primarily focuses on the relationship between a bartender, an aspiring comedian, and his stalker, Martha. The information, part of the marketing strategy, that this story is based on facts was grist for the mill for Netflix fans.
Despite clear opposition from the creators, with Richard Gadd himself at the forefront, internet users began their investigation, wanting to discover the real identities of the "villains" in the film: the rapist and the main character's persecutor. It wasn't long before the real-life inspiration for screen-Martha made herself known.
What a plot twist: The real-life stalker from 'Baby Reindeer' set to appear on TV
As late as the end of April, we reported that the woman who was said to inspire the stalker from "Baby Reindeer" was furious with the production and considering a lawsuit. The recently anonymous figure admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail that she is receiving death threats. According to her, Gadd is obsessed with her, and the production he created is a form of revenge on her.
– She kind of looks like me when I gained weight during quarantine, but really I'm not unattractive – assessed her Netflix counterpart in the interview. Some foreign media suggested that it's about Fiona Harvey, who in the past had harassed British politician Jimmy Wray and his wife, Laura.

Unexpectedly, the real Martha decided to reveal herself. On Thursday night, 9th May, she will appear on the "Piers Morgan Uncensored" program on YouTube. The host announced this event the day before on his social media. In the "world-exclusive" interview, Fiona Harvey will reportedly "clarify the situation" once and for all. The X service also published a picture of the presenter with the woman.
On Morgan's profile, there was also a video modelled on the intercutting scene boards in the series, previewing the awaited confrontation with the stalker's original. As The Hollywood Reporter noted, this revelation was announced a few hours after film and television projects were discussed in the British parliament. Netflix's representative Benjamin King assured that the team responsible for "Baby Reindeer" took all precautions to hide the identities of the people spoken about in the play and later in Gadd's series.
The invitation of Harvey to television sparked a flurry of comments online. Besides the obvious excitement and interest in the interview, many pointed out the unethical nature of Morgan's proposal. It is still unclear whether the woman suffers from a mental illness that led her to obsessive behaviours.
