Unsightly weeds, moss, or grass often grow between the paving stones. How can you effectively remove them without much effort? Thanks to a mix of three simple ingredients, you'll quickly eliminate this problem, and the plants protruding from the paving stones will stop marring your garden.

Paving stones remain one of the most popular materials for hardening surfaces. Their undeniable advantages are their aesthetic appearance and resistance to harsh weather conditions.

Weeds and moss growing in the gaps are a troublesome problem for many garden owners. Undesirable plants mar driveways and walkways, and removing them mechanically is time-consuming and tiring. Additionally, it only provides a temporary solution.

The most challenging opponent is moss, which initially appears in the gaps between the stones and, over time, spreads, growing on the surface itself. This plant can cause significant damage to the surface.

How to quickly get rid of weeds from paving stones?

Due to their porous structure, paving stones quickly absorb moisture, contributing to the material's rapid deterioration. Plants and moss growing in the gaps push the rocks, causing cracks and unevenness. That's why it's so important to remove weeds regularly.

So, how can you quickly and effectively get rid of the problem? Just prepare a spray with vinegar, Epsom salt, and washing-up liquid. Not only will this save money, but it will also protect nature by avoiding invasive chemical preparations.

Add 1 litre of distilled vinegar, 4 tablespoons of Epsom salt, and 1 teaspoon of washing-up liquid, and mix thoroughly. Then, pour the mixture into a spray bottle.

Spray the paving stones in places where moss and weeds have appeared. Repeat the treatment for several days. Remember to use it on days when it is not raining. Otherwise, all your work will be in vain.
