Sensational news about planned military campaigns and pervasive threats are a part of the information battle being fought by the Russian Federation. Ever since the invasion of Ukraine began, Kremlin-controlled media have been operating at full tilt, attempting to instil fear within Europe. References to Poland are frequently made.
On this occasion, Russia's chief propagandist expressed his imperial fantasies again - Vladimir Solovyov, commonly referred to as Putin's "media soldier." He is infamous for his disdain towards our country and frequently shares his visions of a Russian assault on Poland.
During his talk show on national television, Vladimir Solovyov elaborated on how Russia would handle Poland during a potential invasion. The propagandist suggests that "Russians will fight like Americans in Iraq," and the need to deploy nuclear weapons won't arise, as missile and aerial attacks would suffice to obliterate our country.
Do the Poles want to be the next ones? They are not our Ukrainian siblings. We won't treat them as such. We'll annihilate their cities in no time, no need for ground troops. We empathise with Ukraine, but we'd go all out in Poland, just like the Americans did in Iraq. I have doubts about the use of nuclear weapons, but I'm certain that missile and aerial strikes will be enough to wipe them off the face of the earth. We would emerge victorious with ease - he opined.
The clip was shared by Anton Herashchenko, an advisor to the former Ukrainian Interior Minister, on the X portal. He aimed it at protesting Polish farmers and individuals who recently have been expressing their animosity towards Ukraine.
I believe that Polish farmers should watch this - Anton Herashchenko commented.
