Princess Kate has completed her cancer treatment. Having recently been diagnosed with cancer, she decided to thank the doctors for their care and to meet the patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital. A year ago, Princess Kate was treated for cancer at the hospital. Now feeling well, she decided to visit again to express gratitude for the care she received and to support other patients. Interestingly, together with Prince William, she will become a co-patron of this institution. This event marked her first commitment in 2025.
Kate met with the Chief Executive, Dame Cally Palmer, and the Chairman, Sir Douglas Flint.
A spokesperson from Kensington Palace noted that the hospital is renowned for its professional approach to patient care, and the princess is highly grateful for the assistance she received.
The princess wanted to make this journey both to show her gratitude to the incredible team and to highlight the world-leading care and treatment that the Marsden provides.

She conveyed that having a positive attitude is very important and revealed that this mindset accompanied her during her treatment.

Sometimes, from the outside, we all think that you've finished treatment and you're back to normal, but it's hard to return to normalcy, she said.
