"The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening. Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery," the statement from Buckingham Palace read.

Princess Anne's accident
The cause of the injury has not been confirmed, but as the BBC reported, Princess Anne was likely struck by a horse with its head or leg.
Seventy-three-year-old Anne is the hardest-working member of the royal family and consistently ranks among the most famous individuals within the family. She was scheduled to begin a visit to Canada later this week.
