Online star David Allen mourns loss of newborn daughter Lily

David Allen, known online as ToTouchAnEmu, informed netizens about a family tragedy. The social media star is mourning the death of his daughter Lily. The little girl passed away just five weeks after birth.

David Allen is one of the most popular online creators worldwide. On TikTok alone, he has over 10 million followers. His life seemed to be a series of professional and personal successes. Unfortunately, at the beginning of August, he informed netizens about a painful loss.

Allen began his Instagram post by referring to the life he seemingly had until recently, a life others may have envied.

I got to travel a lot, meet a lot of cool people, celebrities, be on shows, interviews, things like that. It was really neat, he said.

As he quickly added, all these successes were trivial compared to the recent joy and the subsequent tragedy.

But the coolest thing I ever did was welcome my baby Lily into this world with my wife Jessica. She was five weeks old, about a week ago, when she passed away at midnight, he said.

Lily was born on 21 June. She died on 27 July. Allen did not reveal the cause of the girl's death. As he explained, he waited a week to inform everyone about his daughter’s death because he could not find the words for it.

I have cried every tear I can possibly cry, I think. It’s not easy. I don’t wish this on anybody, he said in the recording.

Ultimately, he asked netizens to "hug your little ones, squeeze them tight" from him.

During this difficult time, David Allen can count on words of support from millions of followers on both TikTok and Instagram. It is unknown if and when he will return to publishing regular content on social media.
