Night of terror in Ukraine: Russian soldiers' deadly quest for alcohol
Soldiers of unit number 33702 of the Russian Ministry of Defense, 33-year-old Alexander Osipov and 37-year-old Alexander Kaygorodov, spent the night from 23 to 24 April on a "journey" between two neighbouring villages, Abrikosovka and Podo-Kalinovka, in search of alcohol. When they were denied, they killed the inhabitants and burned their houses.

The investigative channel Wczk-OGPU, which has sources close to the Russian special services, reports on the matter. About five civilians from the Kherson region in Ukraine were reportedly killed by Russian criminals.
They shot in the back. Burned the bodies
One of the victims is 64-year-old Valentina Starchenko, who was shot in the back right next to the fence of her house by the Russians. Then, they threw a grenade into the house on Oktiabrskaya Street in the village of Podo-Kalinovka and set the hut on fire.
A similarly tragic fate befell 32-year-old resident of the same village, Sergey Shuvayev, and his friend - a military man, named Maxim. Their home on Lenin Street was also completely destroyed, and the men's bodies were found on the outskirts of the village. As reported by Wczk-OGPU, the men were shot, and their bodies were burned.
Another two residents died in a particularly brutal manner. A 54-year-old village administration head and his 39-year-old partner were shot, and their bodies were dismembered. The victims had their skulls cut open. Their bodies were also burned by the Russians after death.
Punished for murder
It is known that at each crime scene, the murderers left evidence: cartridge cases, bullets, grenade rings. Near the village administration building in Podo-Kalinovka, a UAZ "Patriot" pickup truck belonging to unit 33702, which Osipov and Kaygorodov were travelling in, was found. In the car, an AK-12 assault rifle, grenades, and a bulletproof vest were found.
An investigation into this matter has been initiated by the 126th Military Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Russian military personnel had been previously punished - including for murder.
