  • At least 13 people were injured, including two seriously, in the city of Kursk in western Russia from the remnants of a destroyed missile launched by Ukrainian forces - Reuters reported on Sunday, citing Alexei Smirnov, the acting governor of the Kursk region. Since Tuesday, there has been an offensive by Ukrainian forces in this region. Russia is engaged in intense fighting with thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who have penetrated 19 kilometres into the Kursk region - wrote Reuters.
  • Russia carried out an air strike on Kyiv, and the air defence systems were engaged in repelling the strike - reported the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, on Saturday night to Sunday.
  • Thousands of people took to the streets of Belgrade on Saturday to protest against the plan to open a lithium mine in Serbia. "This is an ecological protest, but also a political one, prompted by a complete lack of trust in our authorities," said Milosz, a participant in the demonstration, to PAP. Saturday’s protest in Belgrade was preceded by a series of demonstrations organised for over two weeks in many cities of Serbia.
