New video reveals dramatic moments during Trump assassination attempt

Even though several weeks have passed since the assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life, new information is still emerging. "The Sun" published a video from a camera that captures the dramatic moments, showing an officer climbing onto a rooftop to stop the assailant.

On 13th July, the world was shocked by the news of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The perpetrator of the attack was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who decided to attack the former US president during a public rally. Crooks, armed with a weapon, was on the rooftop of a building near the place where Donald Trump was delivering his speech.

Shortly after firing shots towards the former president, Crooks was shot dead. A new video from an officer's camera has appeared online.

The video shared by "The Sun" shows an officer quickly moving to the rooftop in response to the alarming signal, where the assailant was located.

The video shows how the officer spots the assailant within a few seconds of reaching the rooftop. Soon, other officers arrive at the scene.

One person killed in shooting

As a result of the tragic shooting, three people were seriously injured. James Copenhaver, a 74-year-old man, was seriously injured in the exchange of gunfire and is now recovering. The second injured person is 57-year-old David Dutch. He was shot twice, but his condition is stable.

Unfortunately, the third person shot, 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, did not survive. Comperatore died due to severe head injuries.
