Swimming in a pool with cloudy water is unpleasant and carries certain risks. Various fungi and bacteria can develop, which are potential health threats, leading to skin diseases and respiratory disorders. Therefore, maintaining proper hygiene while swimming is crucial.

Many people use chlorine to keep pool water clean. While it is effective, it is not always safe—in too high a concentration, it can irritate the skin.

Natural water purifier: it will be crystal clear

Before you start cleaning the water, it's worth disinfecting all the pool filters. Soak them in warm water with a small amount of baking soda. This will kill harmful bacteria. Next, remove any visible debris from the water, such as leaves or insects.

The next step is to purchase a large amount of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C. You need 60 grams of this ingredient for every cubic metre of water. Vitamin C effectively eliminates all impurities from the water, making it crystal clear. It's worth using this method regularly, as ascorbic acid reduces the level of iron, which is responsible for water cloudiness.

Another cleaning method

You can also try the baking soda trick if you have a pool vacuum. It is as effective as vitamin C. However, it requires 5 kilograms of baking soda.

After adding this ingredient, pour it into the water and let it dissolve. Finally, scrub the bottom of the pool with a clean mop and vacuum the bottom to remove the sediment.
