Although there is no shortage of various chemical cleaning agents in stores, with shelves bending under colourful cleaning bottles, we can find many natural agents in our homes as well. It has long been known that vinegar effectively removes deposits, and baking soda cleans the hob. When it's time to clean the oven, it's worth reaching into the fruit basket, not to grab a healthy snack, but to ease the task.

How to clean the oven - Simple trick

Forget about scrubbing and scraping. There is a way to clean the oven naturally. All you need are a few lemons, water, and a bit of patience to make your oven shine with cleanliness again. Steam and citric acids will tackle even the most stubborn grease.

How to clean the oven with lemon?

  1. Prepare an oven-safe dish, water, a few lemons, and a cloth.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the dish with water. Add the peels.
  3. Place the dish in the oven and heat it to 150°C for about an hour.
  4. Turn off the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Using a cloth soaked in the lemon solution from the oven-safe dish, thoroughly wipe the inside of the oven.
  6. Wipe the oven dry with a clean cloth.

This is a simple, eco-friendly, and economical way to clean the oven. Additionally, lemons add a light and pleasant fragrance without extra chemicals.

Natural methods really work

Lemon is also useful for removing unpleasant odours. It has antibacterial and refreshing properties. Squeeze the juice from a few lemons and wipe the inside of the oven with it. To enhance the lemon's effect, add a bit of baking soda.

Explore other methods as well. A solution of water and vinegar effectively removes grease and neutralizes unpleasant odours. A baking soda and water paste works like a scouring pad and absorbs odours, making it useful for tougher stains.
