Missile attacks in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, kill four and injure dozens
As a result of Russian missile attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region over the last day, 4 people were killed and 23 were injured - Ivan Fedorov, the head of the regional authorities, reported on Saturday morning on Telegram. Russian forces hit Zaporizhzhia with at least 5 missiles - he added.

Fedorov described the situation in Zaporizhzhia as the terrorizing of residents by the Russian armed forces. "For the past two days, the enemy terrorized the residents of Zaporizhzhia with missile attacks. (...) Four people died - two men and two women. Two of them passed away in the hospital," - the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional authorities wrote.
He emphasized that among the 23 injured, eight, including two children aged 9 and 17, have been hospitalized, with four of them in critical condition.
40 buildings were destroyed
Fedorov also stated that according to preliminary data, the attacks caused damage to more than 40 buildings. Among these were 24 private houses, nine multi-story buildings, a dormitory, and a kindergarten.
Earlier, Fedorov reported, "Throughout the day, the occupiers launched 260 strikes in 8 localities in the Zaporizhzhia region". He listed that "46 drones of various types attacked Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Novoandriivka". He noted that, besides airstrikes, there were 199 artillery attacks on these areas.
During a night-time drone attack, the air defence forces managed to destroy 3 Shahed-131/136 drones heading towards Zaporizhzhia.
Six victims in Kharkiv
Earlier, there were reports of explosions in Kharkiv. Six people lost their lives in the shelling of Kharkiv. Damaged properties included multi-story residential buildings, dormitories, administrative buildings, a petrol station, and cars.
All specialized services are operational at the sites hit by missiles. The police are documenting facts related to additional crimes committed by the Russian military.
