Miami Beach - the contrast between Instagram and reality
Currently, this popular TikToker is visiting Miami, having just returned from a cruise around the Bahamas. She has shared a video as part of the fan-favourite series "Instagram vs Reality" across her social media.
The clip begins with idyllic aerial views where Miami beach appears especially inviting. The pristine and soft sand next to the turquoise water certainly lives up to its media depiction.
However, Kasia then reveals the beach’s harsh reality from a closer view. It's littered with dried seaweed, a sight that is far from appealing. Moreover, seagulls, scavenging amidst the seaweed, seem to have taken ownership of the beach, as jokingly cited in the video's caption by Kasia.

It should be acknowledged that the footage dramatically contrasts with the traditional paradisiacal image presented of Miami’s iconic beaches.
Internet users have confirmed that seaweed infestation is not an issue confined to Miami. They have noted similar issues with Zanzibar and Cancun, as seen in comments below the video; "Similar cases of seaweed in Sopot", for instance, appear frequently.
Miami - a must-visit tourist hotspot
Miami sits on the Florida coast lining the Atlantic Ocean, which annually draws in millions of global tourists.

Water sports enthusiasts, in particular, find the place enthralling for activities like surfing, diving, and sailing. It's consistently stated that Miami pulsates with life 24/7.
Port Miami, dubbed as the "Cruise Capital of the World", currently sees an impressive influx of passenger ships on a yearly basis.
