Meghan Markle's public appearance after King Charles's illness stirs online controversy

It appears that another season of PR flubs featuring our favourite pair, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has just commenced. Upon learning of his father's serious illness, Harry quickly boarded a private jet to London. Much attention was given to his visit, but ultimately, the perceived royal "outcast" spent less than an hour with his father. He didn't see his brother and returned to California in less than 24 hours. Meghan has also managed to remain in the spotlight. Her critics wasted no time accusing her of being calculating and lacking sensitivity.

Meghan Markle spotted by paparazzi, a single smile could be expensive

Just a few hours before Harry's return to the U.S., Meghan was observed taking a leisure drive in a massive SUV near her Montecito residence, valued at $14 million (approximately £10 million). The controversial point comes from the photo, in which the Duchess smiles broadly. Given the current situation in the Windsor family, internet users did not receive her joy positively.

"Meghan Markle is grinning from ear to ear, even though her father-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer, her sister-in-law is recuperating from major surgery, and her father just suffered a stroke. It seems like she's showing everyone her insensitivity," one user from platform X.

Interestingly, on Wednesday night, Prince William attended a charity gala in London, where his smiles failed to draw any criticism.

But is really all this as bad as it appears, or are just people seeking controversy?
