Meghan Markle worked intensively on building her personal brand online before her relationship with Prince Harry. This profile was deactivated in 2020 when the couple stepped down from their royal duties.
In August of last year, media reports surfaced that Markle was preparing for a "big return" to Instagram with a profile named "@meghan". At that time, experts speculated on how much Harry's beloved would earn from her social media activity, but the account remained empty for several months. The eagerly awaited moment came on 1st January 2025 - Meghan published a short video made on the beach in Montecito, near her home. According to the Daily Mail, the video was filmed by Prince Harry. It shows the 43-year-old, dressed in a white shirt and wide trousers, running, smiling at the camera, and writing "2025" in the sand. Her profile already has over 600,000 followers.
