Since leaving the ranks of the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been looking for ways to live across the ocean. Although it seemed their media career in the United States would take off, the opposite happened. In good and bad times, however, they could count on the support of well-known friends.
Meghan Markle photographed at an event. She supported Oprah Winfrey
One of the Sussexes' friends is, of course, Oprah Winfrey. They gave her that memorable interview that made headlines worldwide, which certainly means something. So, it's no surprise that Meghan publicly supported the American "queen of talk shows" when the opportunity arose.
A special meeting was held at the Goodmothers bookstore in Summerland, where several familiar faces appeared in addition to Oprah. Marco Leone, Dr Jennifer Freed, and Laura Lynne Jackson attended the event, but not only them, as their Instagram stories indicate that Meghan also showed up.
Prince Harry's wife was photographed with a microphone and even addressed a few words to those gathered. These personalities also captured the moment when Markle exchanged hugs with the other event participants and listened intently to what her famous friend had to say. We hope Oprah appreciated this gesture.
Moreover, according to the Daily Mail, Harry's biography was prominently displayed in the "hometown heroes" section of the bookstore. This is quite an interesting decision, as the ex-royal spent most of his life in the United Kingdom and has only recently lived in California. And all of this, as the aforementioned service reminds us, took place on the second anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death.
