Meghan Markle has started her business and launched her first product, strawberry jam. Her father-in-law has been involved in a similar business for years. Prince Harry's wife seems to have officially started a royal battle over jams.

It must be admitted that Meghan Markle has repeatedly proven she knows how to create a media buzz around herself. Amid the commotion caused a few weeks ago by an unfortunately edited photo of Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince Harry decided to "quietly" announce her new project on social media under the intriguing name "American Riviera Orchard brand".

The day the media first announced that Duchess Meghan was starting a company was no coincidence. That very day, a ceremony related to the presentation of the Princess Diana Award took place. According to experts, the beloved wife of the king's younger son chose this date deliberately.

Meghan has always seen herself as Diane’s heir. She sees herself as suffering because of the media, just as she feels Diana suffered, but on this side of the pond at least, there will be a huge amount of criticism that she is just trying to cash in on Diana’s legacy, said British royal family commentator Richard Fitzwilliams quoted by The Mirror magazine.

Meghan Markle announced the first product of her brand. Does King Charles have a reason to be proud?

We had to wait a bit for Meghan Markle to present the world with the first product of her brand, which turned out to be... strawberry jam. A few days ago, jars in a limited edition were sent to the royal couple's friends, who boasted about the gift on social media. Of course, it was not without a "little" commotion. The "American Riviera Orchard brand" product debut officially kicked off the royal battle over jams.

It's worth noting that jam production has also been a pursuit of King Charles III for years. Even during his days as a prince, he began selling products from his farm and built one of the biggest organic food and drink brands in the UK. Currently, the Monarch's company offers a variety of items, including cheeses, vegetables, meats, and a wide range of preserves and jams.

According to "Daily Mail", the release of a limited number of jars filled with strawberry delights by Meghan Markle has led to a sharp increase in sales for products produced by King Charles's company, with some items even selling out for a few days. However, the tabloid notes that the profits from the sales do not go directly into the monarch's pocket but into his foundation.

What do you think, who will benefit the most from this?
